Freedom Summer: Artist of the Ohio Innocence Project and University of Cincinnati Law
Exhibition opening Friday, August 15

5:30 PM – 7:30PM

Freedom Summer: Artist of the Ohio Innocence Project and University of Cincinnati Law. Collaborating in this exhibition are four of the 3,783 Americans since 1989 who have been falsely accused, wrongfully convicted of crimes they did not commit, and imprisoned for decades despite their innocence.

With the help of the Ohio Innocence Project at University of Cincinnati Law, they have been exonerated by the courts.

Through their works of art displayed in this exhibition, these men now help others remember the value – and fragility – of freedom.

Join us at the official opening of this exhibition on Friday, August 15 from 5:30 PM – 7:30PM. View works by artists Alan Butts, Dean Gillispie, Robert McClendon, and Raymond Towler. Pierce Reed from the Ohio Innocence Project will give a brief talk. Light refreshments will be available.
