SUMMER SERIES FOR KIDS
Join us at Pyramid Hill's bi-weekly art and nature inspired workshops for kids ages 5 through 12. Visitors can look forward to exciting new workshops, and the return of favorites!

Copper Creations
Friday, June 14
1PM – 2PM

Carve designs into copper sheets using wooden tools in this hands-on workshop inspired by the ancient artwork of the Hopewell culture.
 

Participants are encouraged to visit Mounds, Moon, and Stars after the workshop. This exhibit, organized by the Great Circle Alliance, explores the ceremonial sites we now call the Newark Earthworks and the astounding expertise of those that built them.

  • $5/child for members

  • $10 per child for non-members

  • free for member adults

  • $10 for non-member adults

Kite Making
Friday, June 28
1PM – 2PM

Craft your own kite with step by step guidance from artist Lizzy Duquette! Test your creation among the 300 acres of Pyramid Hill's beautiful park grounds.

Glen Helen Raptor Center "Only Owls"

What is that bird hooting in the night? In this program, meet three Ohio native owls from the Glen Helen Raptor Center and discover their unique adaptations that make them masters of the night.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Bang on buckets and learn to make rhythm with everyday objects alongside percussionist Stan Ginn. Who doesn’t love to bang on stuff?
