Hamilton, OH - Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum is excited to announce the Meteor Shower Party and overnight campout!
Join us Friday, August 14th for a meteor shower watching party! Get away from light pollution and experience the magic at Pyramid Hill park’s Age of Stone. The event will last from 11pm-2am. This year, guests are welcome to keep the party going and camp in the park overnight.
“The Meteor Shower Party is one of our biggest and most beloved events," explains Pyramid Hill Director Sean FitzGibbons. "We enjoy opening up the park to visitors for the evening and with some of the highest points in Butler County, it's easy to escape the light and sound pollution of Hamilton and focus on nature's beauty. With the option to camp overnight, this year's event will surely be an evening you will not want to miss out on."
Bring a private picnic (no outside alcohol) or enjoy our concessions. Pyramid Hill will provide a cash bar with a special meteor-themed cocktail, beer, wine, pop, and water. Tickets are $8 per adult and $3 for children ages 6 - 12. Admission to the Meteor Shower Party is free for Pyramid Hill members!
Campers will not have access to electric or running water however, our bathrooms at the Grand Pavilion will remain open throughout the night. Camping will be restricted to the areas around the Grand Pavilion. No fires are allowed! Campers must exit the park by 9am Saturday, August 15th. Pre-registration is required to camp. The cost is $50 per tent. To register, please visit: www.pyramidhill.org/events
