Leverage showcases nine monumental sculptures by the contemporary American sculptor, Bret Price. These colossal steel pieces are expertly fabricated and span the two decades that Price has been working at a monumental scale. Price began his 50-year career as a ceramicist but began working with metal in the late 1980’s. His passion for materials and process, as well as his interdisciplinary sensibilities are inherent in the work, and these combine to help Price defy the limitations of the material and remind the viewer that one's preconceptions can be limiting.
