2012 Summer Concert Series Schedule

June 17 – The Missy Werner Band
A veteran performer from the Cincinnati area, Missy Werner is a bluegrass singer with a plaintive, expressive voice that’s equally at home negotiating the twists and turns of a contemporary song or delivering a bona fide classic. Missy performs with a band drawn from experienced friends and colleagues who have earned their stripes performing and recording in the bluegrass heartland.

June 24 – Westchester Symphony
Maestra Susan J. Schirmer has been conducting the West Chester Symphony for 13 years. The mission of the West Chester Symphony is to educate, enrich, and expose the local community to the arts while providing an artistic musical opportunity for orchestral musicians in the Cincinnati area.

July 1 – Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band
The Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band is a group of well-seasoned musicians whose specialty is Classic Traditional Jazz. The musical effect is at once entertaining, humorous and infectious. Founded in 1994 by veteran banjo artist and showman, Bob Adams, the band continues to gain an increasing number of fans on domestic and international stages.

July 8 – Picnic and Pops
The Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Paul John Stanbery has become a yearly tradition.  The pieces scheduled for this event includes a mixture of  patriotic tunes along with upbeat classics. This is the only concert that begins at 7P.M. and will take place at the Pavilion.

July 15 – Twistin’ Sourwood
Twistin’ Sourwood made their Pyramid Hill debut at last year’s Art Fair to an enthusiastic audience. Their lively country-bluegrass music is perfectly suited for a Sunday afternoon picnic in the park!
