Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum is more than just a sculpture park. We have regular activities scheduled throughout the year. From our concert series and kid's series to special exhibitions and rental facilites, there's something at the sculpture park for everyone. Check for items and/or tickets for sale. In addition to the numerous activities we hold throughout the year, we are in need of Volunteers. We are trying to get a Hiking Club started here at Pyramid Hill. Our goal is to meet the 3rd Saturday of every month beginning in April and running through September. ~Summer Series for Kids

            This year’s summer series for kids will be an outstanding celebration of fun.  Choose from one of the 8 programs or attend them all.  All shows begin at 12:00 P.M. in the “Festival Pavilion” rain or shine.  Admission for children is $2 and adults are $5, Pyramid Hill members are free.

 

Rock and Roll Madness (June 16th)

Back by popular demand, Tommy the Rocker and Kimberly G play music from the British Invasion, the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and beyond.  From the Beatles to hip hop, it’s time to put on your dancing shoes and twist your way into summer.


Balloon Story Show (June 23rd)
Children get to star as characters in a story show where everything is made of balloons.  This is a wonderful way to increase your child’s imagination where everything is just a balloon away.  .

A Walk Back In Time (July 7th)
Children will learn about the Miami Indian Tribe as they tour a miniature Indian village and view actual Indian artifacts, many of which were discovered right here at Pyramid Hill by our park archeaologist.  The experience is just an arrowhead away. 

 
Puppet Mania (July 14th)
Puppets like you have never seen them before. Puppets will be in the crowd, on the crowd, and over the crowd.  These puppets are everywhere.  A guaranteed good time, no strings attached. 

 

Pirate Island Madness (July 21st)
Thomas MacGregor the Scottish pirate and his cohort Mary Read, the English woman buccaneer, present a humorous and musical, yet authentic and realistic history of Pirates.  The adventure is a walk down the plank. 

 
Everything Up!  Juggling Show (July 28th)
Juggling at its funniest, with a twist of danger.  Kids will watch with amazement as tricks are performed with props that are on fire and blazing hot.  Lots of comedy and audience interaction guarantees a unique and fun show.  Let the juggling begin. 

 

The Circus…A Musical History (Aug. 4th)
Tom the Ringmaster and Kimberley the Clown, present a fun-filled history of the circus.  There will be lots of action, plenty of music and real historical facts.  It’s sure to be a big top affair.






summer concert series



     Concerts will take place near Lake Nanci.  In case of rain, programs will be moved to the Festival Pavilion.  Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and come prepared for an afternoon of musical enjoyment.  All concerts are FREE with general park admission which is: $8.00/adult and $2.00/child, as always our members are free.  All concerts, excluding the Picnic n'Pops, will begin at 2:00 p.m.

June 20th: Circle Singers-
Formerly known as the General Electric Glee Club, the roots of this group extend back more than 50 years.  This group involves 30+ members contributing to a mixed voice and adult community chorus feel.  They sing a variety of music from Broadway, Patriotic, Standards, and Spirituals to Religious music.

June 27th: Thomas Long and Blues Sacrifice-
This group was founded nearly a year and a half ago playing smokin' hot blues inthe Hamilton area.

July 11th: Slone-
Consists of a 2 person band including a bass guitar, an acoustic guitar and vocals.  The type of music they play ranges from Rock and Country to Classic Rock.

July 18th: Picnic n' Pops-
The Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Paul John Stanbery has become a yearly tradition.  This is the only concert that begins at 7P.M. and will take place at the Pyramid Hill Amphitheater.
This concert is FREE to all who come into the park after 6P.M.

July 25th: Dave Sams-
Dave is a seasoned performer who has toured nationally with "The New Europa Troubadours" and overseas with the Army Band Program.  His shows are interspersed with stories and humor including the accounting of his journey to the crossroads - where an IRS auditor popped up in place of the devil.

August 1st: Tree of Life World Music -
Artist Richard Cisneros is an African-style hand drummer who plays djembe, darbuka, doumbek, bodhran, mounted "trambourine", and conga heads, bells, chimes, gongs, and other percussion.  Ethnologist Patrick McMahon plays wind instruments including flutes, recorders, clarinets, saxes, and harmonicas.

August 8th: Stormy Weather-
Founded in 2004, this quintet has pleased jazz fans and entertained crowds at festivals, coffee houses, and church events all over the Cincinnati area.  Stormy Weather plays traditional jazz tunes fromteh masters stuch as Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Horace Silver, and John Coltrane.  The band has recently added funk and smooth jazz to it's collection of familiar music.
