June 25 – Fun for All Clowns
Come and join us under the big top for a performance by Promise and her other clown friends. The children will laugh and play as they learn about following directions with dancing, balloons, and clown magic. You might even walk on a tight rope but everyone will take home a magic trick to show parents!
July 2 – Cool Critters Outreach
This fun and educational program teaches children about reptiles and invertebrates. Cool Critters is a Cincinnati based organization that rescues and teaches the public about these animals. There will be several animals visiting that may be observed as Cool Critters share fun facts and teach children about the treatment of these animals.
July 9 – Charlie Cadabra Presents “AbraCATabra”
Cincinnati’s finest family magician celebrates Dr. Seuss, his wonderful books and zany characters. This show includes magic tricks, audience helpers, silly fun, costumes, a hilarious storytelling routine, a puppet, and music. Harvey, the live rabbit, will magically appear for everyone to pet after the show.
July 16 – Crystal Clear Science Presents “Sounds Like Fun”
Kids learn the science behind how high or low a sound is and then learn how to use that information to understand common sounds around them such as cars, sirens, and wind speeds. Children learn how sound keeps us safe from things like thunder and how to protect their hearing. The whole group participates as we use our voices, bodies, and simple tools to learn the science behind the sounds we make and hear!
July 20 - Fishing Derby (not part of the Summer Series)
July 23 – Stephen Hollen Presents “Stories From Around The World”
Join this award winning storyteller as he becomes world traveler, treasurer hunter and explorer. Stephen will bring his treasure chest for his audience to dig through and find unknown treasures from all around the world. He will unroll maps from unknown destinations around the world. Each map represents another story. The maps and stories will reveal giants, mermaids, shipwrecks and exciting adventures!
July 30 – The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati
Using the Native American Cinderella Story, “The Rough Faced Girl” by Rafe Martin, children will “travel” to an Algonquin village and experience Native American culture. The performers will talk about the essence of a fairy tale through story, song, and interactive play including dance and passing around a “talking stick” to tell their own fairy tales.
